Ice Castle in Breckenridge, Colorado

Ice Castles is a company based in Utah started by architect Brent Christensen. Each castle is started by “growing” more than 5,000 icicles each day that are harvested and sculpted together. The icicles are then drenched in freezing water.

That process is repeated once or twice a day, and after a few weeks, large towers, tunnels, archways, caves and pathways are created for tourist exploration.

The development of the castles continue throughout the winter evolving everyday. It’s just a really unique Narnia-like blend of the artist’s work and Mother Nature.

We checked it out during the day and decided against the $10 entrance fee. It was just a really neat, large structure in the middle of the town.

Thousands of LED lights are used to make the structure glow at night

All the pictures of above are thanks to except the last one. That's all my photographic talent, ya'll.
