Stagecoach Festival 2015

Stagecoach is an outdoor country music festival in Indio, California. It's one of the highest grossing festivals centered around country music in the world. It's also the "cousin" to Coachella, which takes place at the same venue the two weekends before.

My hip friend Shannon lives in Huntington Beach and invited me to CA for the festival. Having your own business allows for such flexibility to go to SoCal for 5 days, so I did! I arrived on a Thursday afternoon and spent the day with Shannon's husband eating street tacos, drinking Mexican beer and biking from beach town to beach town.

Friday, Shannon and I roadtripped the two hours to Indio. The hotel we stayed at was about a 20 minute drive to the venue, and it.was.gorgeous. It was a golf resort, and it was beautiful. Multiple pools, all rooms were on ground level villas and the mattress was crazy comfortable. #ilovehotels

After checking into the hotel, we clinked our cans of coors light, poofed out our hair and pulled on our cowgirl boots. Once we parked outside of the venue, we became #superclassy and chugged coors light and passed a flask of Jim Beam Fire (it's the new Fireball, ya'll) between us.

We listened and danced to country music for 8 hours. We headed home, went to bed, woke up to lay by the pool with morning cocktails, got ready, drove to venue, chugged coors light and whisky, listened and danced to country music for 8 hours, drove home, went to bed. REPEAT.

Three days of festival partying is a long time, but it was seriously SO.MUCH.FUN. Plus, that Polo Club venue is so beautiful! We heard some great music, some not so great music, some disappointing music. We danced, we laughed, we ate, we drank, we napped, and we got to wear cowboy boots (and hats!) for THREE days!
